Red Prince® is also a relatively young apple brand. Since 1994 it has been bred as a mutant of the Jonagold variety. It is characterized by a completely deep red and not stripy opaque color. Biting into the Red Prince® is a crisp, juicy experience. It tastes slightly sweet and has good storage properties. Therefore, it can be bought from local production until the new harvest. It has been marketed since 2004.
